Rookie powerhouse girl group ILLIT (Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha) is gearing up for their next musical chapter with the release of their third mini album, BOMB, on June 16. The news was officially announced by their agency BELIFT LAB via global fan platform Weverse on May 19.
The new album BOMB continues ILLIT’s ongoing narrative arc. While their debut EP SUPER REAL ME introduced fans to their authentic selves, and the second mini album I’LL LIKE YOU expressed their feelings toward “you,” this third installment will delve into interpersonal connection and mutual transformation—a story of expanding identity through interaction with another.
ILLIT’s impact as a next-generation K-pop group has already been made clear. Their debut track “Magnetic” made history as the first and fastest debut song by a K-pop girl group to enter both the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and UK Official Singles Top 100. Their follow-up title track “My Love (Cherish)” from I’LL LIKE YOU dominated global charts and helped the group collect an impressive 13 awards, including 7 Rookie of the Year trophies.
Adding to their momentum, ILLIT will hold their first fan concert, titled “2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN SEOUL”, on June 7–8 at Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park. Demand for the event has been overwhelming, with both shows completely sold out during the pre-sale period, further proving their skyrocketing popularity.
Their influence now extends into fashion as well. On May 14, Vogue Korea unveiled two stunning versions of its June cover featuring ILLIT. The editorial, released through Vogue’s official social media platforms, highlights the group’s bold, trendsetting visuals and fresh charm—solidifying their presence not just as musical artists, but as full-fledged style icons.
As June approaches, anticipation continues to build around BOMB, which is expected to further elevate ILLIT’s explosive rise in both the music and fashion worlds.
