Anticipation is sky-high as Starship Entertainment officially unveils its new 8-member boy group IDID, formed through the global survival project “Debut’s Plan.” After eight months of intense competition, training, and emotional moments, the show came to a close with a live finale on May 4, drawing a crowd of over 2,400 fans in person and a large global audience via YouTube livestream.
The final lineup was determined through a combination of fan votes and decisions from the show’s executive board, blending performance skills, growth, and fan connection. The group name IDID symbolizes determination and persistence—standing for “I did it” and representing those who achieve anything through effort. True to its name, IDID is set to make its official debut in the second half of 2025, and fans are eager to see what kind of story and sound the group will bring to the K-pop landscape.
Meet the Members of IDID:
- Kim Minjae (Rank 1): Topping both board and fan scores, Minjae stood out from the beginning. With over 3 years of training at Starship, he earned praise for his sharp skills, stage presence, and charisma. A clear front-runner from the start, he embodies the “elite idol” image.
- Jang Yonghoon (Rank 2): A trainee for 2 years and 4 months, Yonghoon wowed with his tall frame, strong visuals, and balanced talent in both singing and dancing. He’s already being recognized as the group’s “natural-born leader” with a reputation for responsibility and sincerity.
- Baek Junhyeok (Rank 3): Known for his cool exterior and unexpected sense of humor, Junhyeok made his mark during the second evaluation mission with his standout vocals. He trained for over 3 years and quickly became a fan favorite for his duality and warm personality.
- Park Wonbin (Rank 4): With a whopping 4 years and 4 months of training under his belt, Wonbin earned attention as an all-rounder—excelling in vocals, rap, dance, and even acting. His stable performances made him a consistent “one-pick” among fans.

- Jung Semin (Fan SAVE): Semin earned overwhelming support throughout the show, topping all three rounds of global fan voting. His emotional connection with fans and performance growth made him a natural choice for the “Fan SAVE” spot.
- Park Junhwan (Board SAVE): A standout with just 5 months of training, Junhwan impressed the board with his striking visuals, athletic build, and relentless drive. Despite his short time as a trainee, his growth trajectory was one of the most dramatic on the show.
