aespa Fans in Southeast Asia Successfully Host Sold-Out Cinema Screening Event
Fan Community Highlights Passion, Creativity, and Care for Artist Well-being
SOUTHEAST ASIA — The Southeast Asian fanbase of K-pop girl group aespa, represented by the fan account @aespaverse1117 on X (formerly Twitter), continues to show their dedication with growing influence. The account currently boasts over 1.5K followers and has been active in organizing fan-driven events that go beyond online updates.
Among their most notable initiatives is the block screening of “aespa World Tour in Cinema”, which proved to be a resounding success. The group managed to completely sell out two screenings — one at the exclusive Director’s Club (50 seats) and another at a regular cinema with over 300 attendees. In addition, they hosted a fanzone that attracted not only attending fans but also mall-goers who happened to be at the venue.
Although the team has not yet collaborated directly with SM Entertainment, they expressed a strong willingness to do so in the future. One suggestion put forward was the creation of a costume exhibit showcasing aespa’s iconic outfits from each era, citing their unique and creative designs as a compelling reason.
In a heartfelt message to SM, the fan team emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of the artists, noting:
“While we understand the desire to give fans the joy of seeing their idols perform, we also want to make sure the artists have the chance to rest and recharge after a job well done.”

Special thanks to the Filipino aespa fanbase @aespaverse1117 for participating in this interview and sharing their heartfelt stories.
